Sketchabilities #113 DT Reveal - the mountain calls!

Hi everyone! It's my last DT-project for the actual Sketchabilities Team. It's sketch #113! Check it out on the sketchabilities blog and participate with us! We have a great sponsor this month, all you have to do is submit a layout based on sketch #113! Creative Embellishments is offering up a $20.00 gift card to their online store.

This is my project:

We took the pictures during our holiday in the mountains of switzerland. You can see the height above sea level on the watch, it's 2165m! :)

And that's the sketch!

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see your creations on the sketchabilities blog :)

Sketchabilities #112 DT reveal

Hi everyone!

It's time for the Sketchabilities #112 DT-reveal
I came up with a Bambi-LO :)

For the background I used a paper by DCWV (lace stack).

My title is made out of grunge-board and painted it with metallic distress paint. I used two different colors of liquid pearls to create some flourishes around the title and around my canvas flowers.

The flowers are from Prima and made of resist canvas. I sprayed them with different Glimmer Mists to color them and added a huge metallic brad in the center of each. Underneath, I applied a tiny bit of glitter Washi tape.

To highlight the tags, I used a little bit of Inka Gold and rubbed it on with my fingers. You can see a bit of the background stamping in that picture, too.

Another close-up of my background work.

Thank you for stopping by and it would be great, if you'll join is this month by creating a layout with this beautiful sketch!
